Mephistic Manor by Robert Clarkson
Robert Clarkson will be contributing this model which he calls Mephistic Manor.
"The building and its grounds were inspired by Ettington Hall (now the Ettington Park Hotel) near Stratford-upon-Avon, which was used as the haunted house in the 1963 film 'The Haunting'." says Robert, who built it using about 3,500 parts over a number of evenings over the course of a few weeks. "The tower in the corner of the grounds was part of last year's Hogwarts Castle display at GWLS which has been reused here as the tower that imprisons Rapunzel."
The model is built in layers so that each floor of the hall can be accessed. This particularly helps with transporting the model down from the north-west of England where it normally resides.
During the show, Judge Phileas Brummagen will be at home, and he'll be gathering his family, friends and fiends for a feast. You'll be invited to find and identify everyone invited along.
